Administration

This page covers two administrative procedures: deregistering as a patient, and reimbursement for doctors who saw one of our patients during the on-call service.

Deregistering as a patient

You can end your registration with our medical house at any time. You do not need to give a reason and it costs you nothing.

How do you deregister?

  • With us: you sign the form Notice of end of registration at the secretariat. You can also send it by post to Huisartsen Blancefloer, Blancefloerlaan 69, 2050 Antwerp. We will hand you the form or send it to you; call 03 219 43 93.
  • With your health insurance fund: you can also report your deregistration there. Your fund will inform us.

We must process your request within 14 days and cannot refuse it. You receive a copy of the signed form, on paper or by e-mail.

For a child under 14, the legal representative signs.

When does deregistration take effect?

Your registration ends at the end of the month in which you tell us your decision. You can also choose a later end date, up to three months later. A registration always ends on the last day of a month.

Until that date you remain registered with us and can still come here. After that you pay per service again with another GP, unless you register with another medical house.

Moving to another medical house

If you register with another medical house, you do not need to do anything with us. The new registration counts as deregistration with us and is processed automatically.

Are you still in the trial period?

Then the flat-rate system has not started yet. In that case we cancel your registration instead of deregistering you. Let us know before the start date of the flat rate.

Your medical record

After you deregister, we keep your record as the law requires. Your new GP can request it from us, or you can ask the secretariat yourself.

Reimbursement for on-call doctors

This procedure is for individual doctors who, during an organised on-call service, saw a patient registered with Huisartsen Blancefloer. A registered patient falls under the flat-rate system, so you cannot charge that care to the health insurance fund. The medical house covers it: with the form below you claim the reimbursement amount from us.

Do you work for an on-call post (wachtpost)? Then this procedure does not apply. On-call posts invoice the medical house directly with the follow-up data (patient, provider, date and nomenclature code), without a certificate of care.

Procedure

  1. Download the form Terugbetaling arts van wachtdienst (PDF, in Dutch). One form holds five interventions.
  2. For each intervention, fill in the patient’s name, the date and time, the place and the certificate of care number.
  3. Fill in your account number (IBAN) and the account holder.
  4. Date, stamp and sign the form.
  5. Attach the certificate of care for each intervention.
  6. Send everything by post to Huisartsen Blancefloer, Blancefloerlaan 69, 2050 Antwerp, or drop it off at the secretariat.

What is reimbursed?

We pay the reimbursement amount (the part covered by health insurance) into the account you provide. The patient co-payment (remgeld) is not reimbursed, nor are any supplements.

Patients who paid the on-call doctor themselves

Are you registered with us and did you pay the on-call doctor yourself? Bring the certificate of care to the secretariat. We will then reimburse the reimbursement amount to you as well, without the co-payment.

  • Article 21 of the Royal Decree of 23 April 2013: the medical house covers care provided by another provider, among others during an organised on-call service.
  • RIZIV/INAMI, General Circular no. 24 (January 2024), point 5: the co-payment is excluded when the medical house reimburses care.
